a fond farewell

New Haven Home Recovery wants to thank Nancy Conover for her years of service on our Board of Directors.  After joining the board in 2006, she received the Board Member of the Year award in 2008 for her outstanding dedication to NHHR.   In an interview with Nancy, she described her inspiration and motivation to help, “My grandmother always used this quote when it came to helping others: ‘You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give.’”   Nancy is leaving the board to have more time to travel and dedicate to the Guilford Garden Club. We have been honored to work with her and will miss her.
